| Participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. Delegates from countries on the DAC List of ODA Recipients may be entitled to financial support upon request. National delegations that qualify, may receive support for a maximum of three members.
The financial support consists of the following elements:
- Roundtrip Economy class air ticket to Oslo, arriving on 26 May and departing Oslo on 27 May (depending on flight availability). Political-level Heads of delegation may travel on Business class.
- The travel support will be paid out after the conference upon receipt.
- Hotel accommodation has been pre-arranged for delegates at the Holmenkollen Park Hotel and other hotels. Accommodation for one night including all meals will be paid directly by the organiser. However, any personal expenses charged to the room, such as telephone, mini bar etc., must be paid by the guest concerned at check-out. Such expenses will not be reimbursed.
- Per diem will not be provided, neither will expenses other than air fare and other direct transportation costs, if any, while travelling.
- The delegates will be picked up upon arrival and transport free of charge will be provided to and from the Hotel.
Eglible participants are strongly encouraged to apply at the latest by 15th May 2010.
Please note that in some instances confirmation of financial support must accompany your visa application.
